The Blue Mosque
Istanbul, TURKEY
First visit: May 28, 2007
Revisited: June 11, 2021

On the eve of the start of Euro 2020, I made a pilgrimage to The Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey.

Not that I don’t like the Italy national team but I do find their style of play extremely boring.

The Turkish footballers, on the other hand, are fearless. Much more exciting to watch.

Yes, I am putting my money on the Turkish team tonight when they kick off the postponed tournament against the Italians.

Red and white I will be.
