Imagine my joy getting a letter from Aperture two decades ago, saying that they have found boxes of Robert Frank’s The Americans in some warehouses, a stockpile that they didn’t even know existed? Of course I ordered a copy and pretended that it was the FIRST EDITION. Yes, it is kind of a first edition, first edition Aperture perhaps. For the record, I have seen the real first edition. Yes I really have.
