PERSONALS – Portraits of REAL People and Their Personal Ads

Everytime I need an example to talk about idea origination, this comes to mind. It is a crazily simple book, at least the approach. Intrigued by what people wrote in the personal ads, the photographer contacted them and attempted to photograph them in the spirit they wanted to be seen.
It took me 10 years to own this copy because for about eight, I thought this was just too frivolous to have among all my ‘serious’ titles wink emoticon
People, I guess, eventually grow up.
